Model Agency Website Design
Bmodel is a new generation agency for fashion model recruitment. Conceived as a digital native project, the agency aims at establishing an online space for models to share quality portfolios and find work.
Responsive Design
Most models belong to a young generation of highly mobile people who access online information on the go. At the same time, scouts and recruiters tend to wok from offices. Therefore, cross-device compatibility is of utmost importance and guarantees easy access to models and scouts alike.

Four layout grids were created to accommodate the designs for different screenn sizes and aspect ratios. For desktop screens (1920 dp wide) we used a 16-column grid. Tablet landscape screens use a 12-column grid at 1366 dp break point. Tablet portrait screens use an 8-column grid at 1024 dp break point. Finally, phone screens use a 4 column grid at 360 dp break point.

Typography and Color
The typography speaks elegance and simplicity. We rely on a serif + sans combination to achieve a stark contrast between headlines and block text. Titles and subheadings are in Playfair Display, fine serif typeface from the Google webfont library. For paragraphs we the discrete and versatile Open Sans.
The color palette is neutral and contains black, white, and four shades of gray. There's one high emphasis color to help text links an small actionable elements stand out. Headings dominate and convey hierarchy with size and weight rather than color.

Emphasis on Images
Model portfolios are essentially image collections. To ensure the photos get the attention they deserve, we rely on concise, discreet copy, with plenty of negative space between headings and paragraphs. A lot of the screen real estate is allocated either to a single image, or an image grid.
